As I embarked on this project, I realized how overwhelming it could be. So, I wanted to share my top tips and essentials for creating a functional and engaging kids’ playroom. Trust me, it’s worth the effort!

When designing the playroom, I considered how the space would be used. Would it be for homework, play, or relaxation? This helped me decide on the necessary furniture and layout. I also thought about my girls’ age and interests – ( they were super into disney princesses so I went with the theme )this influenced my choices for furniture, storage, and decor.
I involved my twins in the design process, too. It was essential to create a space that met their needs and reflected their personality. Plus, it was fun to see their ideas and creativity shine through!

Storage Units
I swear, toys and supplies have a secret multiplication power! One day you have a few blocks and dolls, and the next, you’re drowning in a sea of playthings. That’s why storage units are a must-have in our playroom.
This Organizer has plenty of space for books and toys, it features movable drawers with concealed wheels, making clean-up a breeze for little ones. A dedicated space for homework, crafts, and play is essential. I selected a sturdy play table for arts and crafts projects. ( if you have older kids you’re going to want A table that works for doing homework etc )
